Hey all,

When I was younger, I remember various households that I visited having these ornaments that looked like lamps, but they had a figurine (normally gold or bronzed) that looked quite graceful in the middle.

All around the outside structure of this piece were what looked like vertical nylon guitar strings, and oil beads dripped down each string, creating a pretty effect….what I mean is that around the (non-circular) circumference, or perimeter, of the “roof” of this piece, the strings were attached and came down vertically and were attached to the base where the statue stood, then there was a base underneath.

It was about the size of a standard lamp, and perhaps had lighting (a lowish glow) and made no noise. The oil would slide down the “strings” at a medium speed, and im guessing it was regenerated through the article.

Just wondering if anyone knows what these were called and what the (best) brand was so that I can hunt for one on Ebay!!

Many thanks,

AC :-)

I am looking to work in Consumer Packaged Goods or Consumer Products with a large company (Fortune 500-1000). I have 3 years of experience within Marketing, 2 years of it within Consumer Products and have an Ivy League degree but no MBA. I was a Marketing Coordinator for one year and soon become a Marketing Supervisor and Product Manager - all within small to mid-sized companies. I am guessing that my experience thus far translates to an Associate Product or Brand Manager in a Fortune 500-1000 and am ballparking the base salary at $55-60K. Would like to get confirmation and any advice about what I can expect. I have heard a Brand Management career typically offers good work/life balance - though of course each individual company’s culture will be the biggest impact from that perspective. Would really appreciate any specific input and pointers on various companies’ culture and structure. Thanks!

I am really confused. My Boyfriend wants highlights, so in the past I done his hair, I got the powder and the developer 20 or 30 volumes and it went right to blonde, Now i re-done it, using the same product and barely went light brown.
I was guessing if this products have expiration date, which I couldn;t find; so I went back to Sally’s store (beauty supply) and not everybody knows about hair, even if they work there.
So they told me to get a developer 30 volumes, we tried and it went to a really mustard color… which he didn’t desire at all.

Question, what exactly brand or type of product should I’ve be getting to get the job done once?

Thanks a lot!

ps his hair is brown regular.
