Germany is a country in Central Europe. The middle half of Germany is a patchwork of the so-called “Mittelgebirge” (hilly rural areas where fields and forests intermix with larger cities.), which are tourist destinations. You can visit from here the Bayrische Wald (Bavarian Forest), the Black Forest, and Bavarian Alps (in the very south, a small portion of the Alps). Find accommodations at the local hotels in Deutschland in the area to see all of those. Germany has numerous cities of interest to tourists; two of them are Berlin and Munich.

Berlin. Berlin is the reunified and reinvigorated capital of Germany. Today it is a metropolis of diversity with elegant clubs and galleries and traditional restaurants. It is also a haven for shoppers. Some of the tourist destination are Pergamon Museum (which houses an extensive collection of ancient Greek, ancient Middle-Eastern and Islamic art and architecture), Brandenburge Gates (an iconic landmark of Berlin and Germany), Schloss Charlottenburg (the presidential palace). Hotels in Berlin are easy to find, so spend some time here.

Munich (München). Munchen is Bavaria’s beautiful capital city and Southern Germany’s leading city, site of the famous Oktoberfest and the gateway to the Alps. You must see and go to Marienplatz, The city center. It is made up largely of the Karlsplatz and the pedestrian shopping zone that leads down to Marienplatz square, which are the main tourist hang outs. Other interesting places are Rathaus-Glokenspiel, Olympic village and more. Get some hotels in Munchen to enjoy the city.

The neighbouring country is Vienna. The must see destination are Schonbrunn palace, the former summer palace of the Habsburg family and the ultimate palace experience in Vienna. (the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1996). Other interesting places are Hofburg (the New Palace) and Heldenplatz, museums, and more. For accommodation, there are a lot of Wien hotels in this city.
