How do i clean a smoooth leather bag?

Too nice for my own good asked:

I have a small bcbg leather handbag with a smooth finish. A couple of days ago i visited a friend who has a small child. This child was eating pizza and had dirty hands and grabbed my bag. I felt bad..and did not want to tell the lil grl anything. So i let her grabb my bag. but it got a lil dirty. Now i want to clean it…im very anal with my stuff, but i dont know how to clean smooth leather. My purse has fabric inside. It’s just the outside that’s dirty. So how do i clean it…i dont want to damage it.
saddle soap..as in horse saddles? i dont have that kind of soap lol

Use saddle soap on it.

use WD 40 if you dont have any mix up some salt in tooth past and a little vinegar

mix certain amount of water to d same amount of alcohol, then rub, let it dry..then put petroleum jelly evenly, leave it overnight…then rub with smooth fabric

try cleaning it with warm water on a cloth, wipe off any exess moisture and thenm polish with a leather polish (sold at department stores and shoe stores sometimes even grocery stores)

Clean it with baby wet wipes. Works wonders on leather. You may want to follow with some moisturizer.
