My white leather bag has mould marks. How do I remove them without spoiling the bag?

girl if it has mold… its too old. trash it.

Use 50-50 solution of vinegar and water. If the mold is persistent, use 50-50 bleach and water.

Try Saddle Soap. It will not damage leather and preserves it.
This is great for leather shoes also.

You could either take it to a dry cleaners and ask for advice or I found this information on a website I don’t know if it will help you …

Finished Leather: e.g.luggage, furniture and garments

1. Place a small amount of a gentle, moisturizing soap such as Dove on a damp cloth and bring it to a light lather.
2. Rub the damp cloth on the leather without putting too much water on the leather.
3. Wipe away lather with a fresh damp cloth. Don’t rinse the leather in water.
4. Polish leather with a dry towel.
5. Treat leather with a leather conditioner after it has dried completely.

Tips & Warnings
Cleaning leather is a dangerous game. Cleaning can change the color or appearance of the leather. Always test the cleaning on a small invisible patch of leather before proceeding on the whole item.
Avoid products like mink oil, shoe polish and waxes when cleaning leather furniture or garments

Mould on leather requires a specialist cleaner called Em-Clean. It is a product which will kill the mould spores but will not damage the leather itself.

If you use bleach or other such suggested products you will almost certainly do damage. Just cleaning the bag will not kill the spores and they will keep on coming back.

i do know if you you get pen on leather bag a little spray with hairspray and wipe it with a cloth it removes it so it might be with a try with your mould spots
