		<description>Since your amp rms power @ 2 ohms is 850 w x 1 , connecting the 4 ohms  subs in parallel will make the amp see a 2 ohm load on its output. (in other words is like having connected only one speaker of 2 ohms consuming all the power) Lowering  the impedance of the load, makes the amp deliver more power. That means that each sub will be consuming about 425 w rms of power EACH. That's the best configuration for you at the moment.</description>

		<description>With these two woofers hooked properly (in parallel) to this amplifier, it will produce 850 watts, which will be divided equally between the two woofers, or 425 watts per woofer. Using the information that you give I have to guess that you either have the 12" or 15" comps. If you have the 12" subs they won't handle this amp because even though it says 500 watts max, they only handle 250 watts RMS each. If you have the 15's then they will handle this amp since they handle 500 watts RMS. 
Also, this amplifier is a single channel class D amplifier so it can't be bridged since bridging an amp is hooking it up in a manner so that a two channel amplifier becomes a single channel amp.  
 Also, Maximum power of most amplifiers is whatever number the manufacturer decides to make up. The only numbers that matter are the ones that say "this many watts RMS @ this ohm load @ this distortion level". Max power watts are the same as the easter bunny and lepechauns. Myths.</description>
