The Alero is no longer made but some say it is a good vehicle and may be selling for less because of the discontinued idea but I hear it has had computer problems so be sure to get the extended warranty, I also know of someone getting 2 new fuel pumps which could indicate computer problems again.. I personally like a Toyota Corolla, you may be able to find one in that price range with about 35 thousand miles on it, just broken in. Look for even a 2001 version. I personally drive an Eagle Vision Tsi which Chrysler made from 1993 to 1997. It is a good car and can be found on ebay very cheap. Even the Ford Escape has a good record so you have lots to choose from. Good luck, check out Ebay Motors, they have some good Florida cars that may suit your liking but you may have to drive there to check it out.

You needn't go any further. With about $7,000, you can buy a
good and reliable 5-year old Toyota Corolla 1.6L sedan (4 doors type). The corolla, with it's low in fuel consumption and high in performance on the road, is the least problematic car its in own class. It's safety features stand out when negiotiating sharp bends at high speed and besides, it's easy to service and
maintain the car.
Get the corolla today!

Get either the Honda Accord or the Toyota Camry.

The Galant and the Maxima are ok, but DONT get the Alero. In fact, try to stay away from used American cars.

Honda civic or accord. civic = economical || accord= eco/luxurious || Parts are very easy to find and they are cheap. Hondas can take abuse and are quite durable. Just never let it overheat lol

for 7 grand, you might be able to get an Accord EX with the 4cyl vtec engine. I would avoid the Galant and the Alero, the Avalon might be out of your price range. Consider the Camry and CRV also if you are looking for reliability and plan to keep it for a while.
