I personally like a Toyota Corolla, you may be able to find one in that price range with about 35 thousand miles on it, just broken in. Look for even a 2001 version. I personally drive an Eagle Vision Tsi which Chrysler made from 1993 to 1997. It is a good car and can be found on ebay very cheap. Even the Ford Escape has a good record so you have lots to choose from. Good luck, check out Ebay Motors, they have some good Florida cars that may suit your liking but you may have to drive there to check it out. I would avoid the Galant and the Alero, the Avalon might be out of your price range.
