Sounds like your compressor might be going out, if they checked the lines and said they're ok it doesnt mean you dont have a leak. On the front of the compressor there is a nylon seal. If you dont have enough oil in the system then the seal will dry out, and leak. Good mechanics could probably determine if it is leaking on the compressor. Good Luck

Air conditioners are supposed to cycle. This is probably just normal.

Does your car have a max setting? Check the owner's manual if you aren't sure. Usually, on max, the A/C won't cycle.

If it still cycles on max, or you think that there is a problem, then take it back to the same shop. I know you don't want to, but complain. Tell them that you spent a lot of money on it last time, and they didn't fix it. You want it fixed again for free. If you don't get what you want, then ask to talk to a manager or the owner. Don't let shops bully you!

If they refilled it without fixing the leak which caused the problem in the first place, the charge is low again and it is short cycling.

I think you have a connection problem. Fan motors usually don't have thermal relays, and if they shut down suddenly, it is usually a bad ground in the system.

Could be a faulty pressure switch, or you have a leak in the A/C system, and need to get it repaired. Good luck.
