I would think it is just for dry things.
I know of people who use it for dryed herbs, cin and other spices too. Probabbly to small to do any quantity anyway.
good luck.

Does it say vegie grinder or juicer? No. It's a "coffee" grinder.

Grind coffee in it. If you want more information on coffee grinders, read this.

A coffee grinder will not work for juicing. It's great for grinding up dried herbs and spices, but make sure you use a different one than the one you grind coffee in. But for juicing, or grinding wet foods... at best you'll wind up with some kind of gummy mass.. at worst, you'll completely destroy the grinder.

If you're looking for fine grinds on non-dry foods, your best bet is a food processor, with some sharp blades, on a very high speed... Or a special purpose "food mill" that can handle wet goods. Juicers, on the other hand, are a different animal, using both grinding and pressing to extract the juices from the pulp. They can't really be substituted for each other, sorry.

A coffee grinder (not burr grinder) can be used for grinding hard items, like coffee beans and nuts.

I would not recommend it for carrots or cucumbers. It might handle dried herbs. Make sure you pulse it, don't grind constantly.
