NEVER EVER EVER. Also never store them in the fridge either. Clear enough??? When you freeze or refrigerate coffee beans the oils dry up and evaporate. This is what makes your coffee taste soo great. Make sure to store them in a sealed airtight container away from the light. I normally store mine in the original bag and put that in a ziploc bag. Also it's best if you fresh grind them right before you brew the coffee. Hope you're using a super coarse grind. This makes the best french press coffee. Freezing will NOT help. Freezing only helps when you have whole beans, then you can freeze them for 6 months. In fact, freezing grinds is BAD. Freezing creates a "frost-bite" effect on the grinds, causing them to lose their flavor faster. Use an air-tight container. It's better than leaving the grinds out in open air and putting them in the freezer, but even that will not help them from diminishing their flavor after 2 weeks.
