Go buy a new range. I wouldn't trust a new oven door - especially when it comes time to clean it. Then compare that price (+$65 for installation if you can't do it yourself) to that of a new oven and you will see that the price of a new oven is at least twice the cost probably 3-4 times the cost of the new oven door. Most oven doors can be removed by the owner for cleaning. See if yours can and if you can find someone who can do it for you cheaper than for $65. You can order the part off of the company site on the Internet and have it delivered to your home. If you pay a technician to replace the door then they will have to order the part and charge you the price that they want to for it. They could get it wholesale or charge you more. You can't get the oven door wholesale, but you should still be able to get one, provided it was a major model. So sorry for your loss - not pretty, I'm sure. You may discover you need to get a completely new door. At the age of your range, it's worth pricing a new one unless you absolutely love it.
