If you want a top end stuff, go with memphis or JL. JL is going to cost you a pretty penny. I run 2 memphis Mojo subs and a mojo amp. This is memphis's top end project. Their M class subs, speakers and amps are also high quality but more affordable. You should be able to get subs for around $250 each and a decent amp for around $600. Memphis is only available thru certified audio shops. Another brand that is more common is MTX. They are affordable, and for the price, they out perform JL's and memphis. If you want a good, solid bass then go with MTX 7500 series subs with a sledgehammer ported box and the recommended amp. its about 800watts continuous. My friend has a single 12'' in this box and it was enough bass pressure to blow off his rear window on his esclade. So if you want something that'll just give you good, loud bass and a cheaper price, go with MTX. If you want SLP quality get JL or Memphis. And remember, if you add these subs, you'll want to also upgrade your component speakers, head unit, and also amp your coponent speakers, otherwise all you will hear is bass. good luck!
