There is a product called GRINZIT or something like that, But you can also use MINUTE RICE the par boiled dried rice you get in the grocery store. DON'T use plain rice, it could damage your grinder (depending on type).
But You really need to get all the old coffee and coffee oils out. It will give your next grinding a rancid flavor.

The old coffee will not likely hurt you, but it will drastically hurt the flavors of your new coffee. Ground coffee only stays fresh for about a week.
You are going to want to take it apart and clean it, try vacuuming it out if you have one of those small hand vacuums.

Depends on the type of grinder, if you can take it apart do so but if not, try using compressed air to blow out dust and old coffe that may have settled on the inside.

It will not be good. Try a mixture of salt and baking soda and grind that in the grinder to get it clean.
