Audiobahn makes fan cooled mono block amps that are powerfull and reliable. They can take high abuse for an extended period of time. i have gone through many amps but my audiobahns are the most dependable amps.

Hifonics amps are good because they are stable to very low impedences. I believe that is your max wattage. Find your rms and get an amp based on that wattage. If you are putting out over a thousand you need to upgrade your electrical system. Don't forget a cap.

As for capacitors, they don't work. It is a marketing scam. They put more STRESS on the alternator as it's just another source to charge. Any well designed amplifier will have the appropriate amount of caps that it needs. Don't waste your money.

I'm going to assume that your 2 woofers are 1050 watts 'max' or 'peak'. 'Max' or 'peak' doesn't mean much when determining power ratings.
Find the RMS rating of your woofers and get an amp that supplies that amount of power. If the woofers are 500watts rms, you need an amp that puts out 500watts rms.

Brand name really means nothing. Find an amp that is CEA-compliant for the power rating you need, in the appropriate impedance.

Good Luck!

Is depend on you. But you need to get the one powerful enough to support your subwoofer.

Depend on your budget. Always remember that "you get what you paid". I suggest Sony, pioneer.

I have one Sony set amp with sub and it make great sound.

Here a link to a online store.

hope this help.

If you have the power from the alternator to spare....Xtant mono block amps are insanely powerful (although somewhat expensive) In my opinion, the Xtant amps are by far the cleanest sound you can get if your willing to pay the cost. I would like to mention that if you plan to run them both to capacity, I would highly recommend a capacitor to save your alternator some life. The capacitor will store power and pull current more steadily from the electrical system which means less dimming of your headlights and a longer life for your alternator diodes.
