The hose on the input side and the output side might be partially plugged, you have to remove them to see for sure, just a couple of clamps. If the pump housing opens easily, open it up, it might have some "stuff' inside making it not work at 100%. I am positive this is a plugged up problem. Sounds like your pump is not doing the job.. Check all the discharge lines and the drain past the unit to the sewer too. Not a dishwasher expert but I hope this helps a little.
