Dish washer has excess water at end of cycle? Cleaned hoses, filters and everything I could locate!?

I am at a loss. I don’t mind buying a new unit, but, I hate that I can’t locate the reason for this problem. I cleaned hoses (filthy), filters (were already clean), and blew back through the hose (quite a disgusting experience), which remedied the problem for about a week. I don’t intend to continually blow back every week forever. Is there a step I am skipping, or should I swallow my pride and buy a new unit? When this unit discharges all it’s water when it’s supposed to, it really cleans the dishes better than any unit I have ever seen! Hate to loose it! For you pros it is a Kenmore Ultra wash.
