Wipe out the interior thoroughly, with a slightly-damp cloth or paper towel. Then (here's the secret) get a handful of peanut shells or sunflower shells. Throw THOSE in the grinder, and run it for a few seconds until they're almost powdered. Then empty it, and wipe out the interior again. (Nearly) good as new! You can’t clean it out 100%.
