buy car monitor
Anon asked:

My car (2003 Toyota Corolla) failed the somg test the other day. The smog tech said that it failed to respond to the readiness monitor. According to him this might be due to new battery which we installed the day prior to the test. So he asked me to drive the car for a week and come back for the re-test. How do I know when my car is ready for the test? I do not want it to fail the test again. I loaned a OBD II scanner from Autozone to check for any DTC code. But I am not sure whether I can test the readiness using this tool or not. I don’t want to spend a lot of money to buy a readiness monitor tool. Please HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!
