My girlfriend and I are buying a new build house and one thing we wanted was integrated kitchen appliances. The thing is, the developer wants to charge us over £3,000 for this which seems rather excessive.

Instead, they will sell us the doors for £80 each and we can do it ourselves. Apparently though, we will only be able to integrate the washing machine and dish washer - they said we wouldn’t be able to do the fridge freezer ourselves.

Why could this be? Are they talking rubbish?
