I understand what you mean. I use a true air purifier from ecoquest international. Shop around for prices. They are out of Tennessee and the product is made in the USA. The tall air systems that stand on the floor work some but all the air in the room has to pass through this system and still it does not take care of smoke, food odors, breathing problems, mold, animal smells or dust. The ozone machine will Eliminate nasty smells, mold, smoke odors, cat and dog stink, help with breathing problems like allergies and asthma, cooking odors like fish and bacon. The dust particles will settle on furniture instead of blowing around the air. No dust can be eliminated but if you can make it heavier to be wiped away instead of blowing around to be breathed in then you accomplish something. Listen to a rep talk about it and have a demonstration if possible. You probably have a rep in your state that will let you try for three days before you buy. Ask. And try to get him or her talked down some in price. It just makes a little less profit for them but a good rep will negotiate. Remember, use an ozone machine not just a filter. Good luck.
