I have a 12000 BTU air conditioner in a window in my living room.. The AC blows its air towards the place I sit constantly blowing on me no matter the fan speed or the direction of the vents. My living room is also attached to my kitchen (seperate rooms but a large opening seperates the two). I could mount the air conditioner in the kitchen allowing the vents to blow the air into my living room (thus not blowing the air on me while i am sitting in the livingroom).. My question is, will my AC still be effective at cooling my living room if i place it in the kitchens window but allow the vents to blow the air directly into my living room. Let me know if any other info is needed and I’ll add to this question.
