I have an 18000 btu air conditioner. The plug wont reach the outlet so I needed to get an extention for it. The appliance cord I got says that its a 15 amp 125 volt cord. Is this a good, safe cord for my air conditioner? The air conditioner does great when plugged into a 110 volt outlet but I want to make sure the cord can hold it.
